Victimology.

Dear Subscriber:

I get a lot of calls from people who are overwhelmed by creditor problems. Many see themselves as victims of an unfair system. Often, they either lost a lawsuit or are being attacked by their ex-spouse (the worst type of lawsuit).

These calls make me sick.

WHY?

Simple!

There is no reason to be a victim if you took Asset Protection seriously when the financial seas were calm.

The bottom line is:

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE VULNERABLE TO THE SYSTEM. IF YOU FIND YOURSELF IN A JAM, IT IS USUALLY BECAUSE YOU CHOSE TO TAKE STEPS (OR NOT TAKE STEPS) WHICH LEFT YOU VULNERABLE.

If you plan to protect yourself when then financial seas are calm, there is NEVER a reason to be vulnerable. PERIOD.

ROB’S FIRST RULE:

PROTECT YOURSELF WHEN THE PROTECTING IS EASY.

Do not wait until the world has collapsed around you. Just do it.

Many clients measure their self-worth by their ability to make money and keep it. Clients with a family often measure their self-worth by their ability to provide for their family. When they can’t, they figure that they are worthless.

Please do not put yourself into a situation where you face this problem.

A solid Asset Protection Plan allows the grantor of such a Plan to always have something left over after the financial seas settle to provide for their family.

Second, we all face troubles at various times in our lives. Remember, these troubled periods seldom last forever. There normally is light at the end of the tunnel. And when you face trouble, please remember the following two issues:

FIRST, YOUR VALUE AS A HUMAN DOESN’T DEPEND ON YOUR ABILITY AS A HUMAN TO SUPPORT YOUR FAMILY. There will be times where the best laid plans simply do not work. Accept this. This does not make you a piece of garbage. Your response to the pressure is a far more meaningful measure of your self-worth then whether you can buy a steak.

SECOND, EVEN IF YOU FAIL, THERE IS ALWAYS ANOTHER DAY (like good old Scarlett from Gone with the Wind). In all cases you will survive and live to fight another day if you keep your gumption in tact.

The reason I am writing this today is that I have sat through several hours listening to folks who have given up. There is never a reason to give up. Your value as a human does not depend on your ability to make money. That is a value we place on you in our U.S. based value system. If you simply take care of your family, keep on fighting, do the best that you can, then you should be proud. Never give up…AND KEEP ON FIGHTING.

I hope this helps my readers who are going through an attack.

In you have an Asset Protection Plan in place it makes it much easier. If not, there is always tomorrow.

Have a healthy and protected week.
