Advice and Advisors.

By John Dietz - Email Editor

Date : December 16, 2008

Dear Valued Reader,

Has anyone in your life (like your father) ever said, “I’m going to give you some good advice?” To close out this year with a gift, Trustmakers is going to give our subscribers some good advice. However, the gift is not advice from Trustmakers, our gift is to give you access to one of our authorities, who has constructed a one of kind treatise on Estate Planning and Dynasty Trusts that we feel everyone (and we truly mean everyone) should read and study.

You might want to ask, why we would care about your assets, especially when you are not our client. At Trustmakers, we practice a field, a skill and a craft; the field requires education, the skill requires experience and the craft requires the talent and creativity to put it all together into a coordinated and flowing strategic plan in a symphony titled an Estate Plan or an Asset Protection Plan.

We care because regardless of whether or not you choose to participate in asset protection, you are a part of our field. You could be sued, you could be in an accident or you could just be experiencing the turns in the normal flow of taxation, economics and health or maybe you are exposed to risk. In any event, we feel every citizen of society has something to lose on some level.

It may sound negative, but where the scenario takes a positive turn is within the strength of our collaborative advisors and partners, their writing, their practices and their experience. We associate with experts in our field, but moreover, we associate with authorities. You have been introduced to some brilliant minds through our newsletters this past year and I would like to introduce another expert and give you a gift; a gift from an expert in Estate Planning, an authority and author of many types of trusts, durable powers of attorney and other necessary tools that we all need to protect our assets.

This is important because you need this information. We know you would rather have a better economical outlook for the holidays than currently exists; however, the reality is if you own assets, you need an Estate Plan, and, just as importantly, you need a good advisor.

Here is A gift from Trustmakers, a guide through Dynasty Trusts with stellar, state-of-the-art information from Gary A. Loftsgard, CFP®.

Gary's vision is to help place an effective and suitable family estate plan into essentially every available home. To date, his company has completed over 15,000 plans nationwide. I believe it is safe to say that Gary has a special know-how and is well versed in all aspects of his subject matter. For more on Gary, click here.

Let us encourage everyone to end this year with our chins up, a positive attitude and without coal in our stockings. This is the best advice we can give you; get an Estate Plan. You should not be without one.

Happy Holidays!
