With the hustle and bustle of the holiday season we thought you might need a respite from the somewhat serious nature of asset protection. We decided to put together some holiday cheer.
This newsletter is for pure fun and enjoyment. We will continue our normal publication after the holiday season.
Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house.
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
Our assets protected, estate planning with care,
In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there.
The children protected by family trust,
With the recession, we had to adjust.
My portfolio safe, my stock on a cap,
Financially sound for a long winters nap.
When out of the congress there arose such a clatter,
I turned on the TV to see what was the matter.
And just when I thought I was about to earn,
A new health care plan would take what I earn.
The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow,
My bank account down in a new found low.
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear?
With my 401K, the picture was clear!
With my assets deflated so quick,
Cash advances I hoped in the sack of St Nick.
With a twinkle and a smile, he warned of a mess,
Needing expert tax planners for the IRS!
Companies, trusts and dynasty planning,
Now is the time you should be preplanning.
He said finish advance directives, finish your will.
If you save on your taxes your stocking will fill!
Laying presents down with such hurry,
Through my eyes, he noticed my worry.
He said, “Get peace on earth and give Trustmakers a call.”
Now dash away dash away, dash away all!
He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle,
And away they all flew like the down of a thistle.
But I heard him exclaim, ‘ere he drove out of sight,
"Safe assets to all, and to all a good-night!"
